Our features and design are guided by the following principles:

    Make the system completely web-based so it is easy to set up, easy to access, and works on both Mac and PC. This will also allow us to provide upgrades instantly.

  • Be visual.

    The less text the better. Make features visually intuitive and build them around managing graphical content. Our goal is to facilitate visual thinking online.

  • Be simple.

    The system should be simple to use, with no distractions from unnecessary features. We are trying to make peoples lives easier, not give them more stuff to learn.

  • Be excellent.

    Use the best technology for the task, and surround it with beautiful design. Provide everything needed to create a worry free experience, including friendly support.

Christopher is an entrepreneur with a passion for art and technology. He is a former Instructor of Art at SMU, and understands the pain of both artists and arts administrators. SlideRoom is part of his larger goal to facilitate visual thinking online and he continues to pursue innovation at the nexus of business, art and technology.

Derek Bumpas

Co-Founder & CTO

Derek has been developing software for the web for over 12 years. Derek continues to manage SlideRoom development and is responsible for SlideRoom’s fast and reliable technology. He leads a team that continues improve the system and develop new features for greater power and convenience.
